Earlier this year, East Port of Spain erupted in protests over the killing of three African males by the police. The mandate of the Committee is to treat with issues plaguing vulnerable communities including crime, unemployment and poverty related matters. There’ve been many such committees over the years; this one needs to generate meaningful long term results. We shall see…
